Amylodon karamysh
Taxonomy
Amylodon karamysh was named by Averianov and Popov (1995). Its type specimen is SSU N 154/109, a tooth (left mandibular dental plate), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shirokii Karamysh 2 (bed 2), which is in a Campanian shoreface sandstone in the Rybushka Formation of the Russian Federation.
