Taxonomy
Lunulites conulus was named by Håkansson and Voigt (1996). Its type specimen is Voigt Coll., Photocat. 43 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is D.U.C. well E-2x, 6683 feet, which is in a Maastrichtian carbonate chalk in North Atlantic.
