Hybodus aschersoni
Taxonomy
Hybodus aschersoni was named by Stromer (1927). Its type specimen is BSP 1912 VIII 50, an other (fin spine), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gebel el Dist Northeast, bed 7n, which is in a Cenomanian marginal marine claystone in the Bahariya Formation of Egypt.
