Premontreia (Oxyscyllium) peypouqueti was named by Noubhani and Cappetta (1997). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ouled Abdoun, recette IV, couche 2a, which is in a Selandian/Thanetian marine sandstone in Morocco.
