Taxonomy
Clypeoceras largisellatum was named by Spath (1934). Its type specimen is BMNH C. 10432a and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chideru, Ceratite Limestone, Salt Range, which is in a Dienerian marine horizon in the Ceratite Limestone Formation of Pakistan.
