Sporolithon keenani
Taxonomy
Archaeolithothamnium keenani was named by Howe (1934). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LSJU locality 930, Indian Creek, which is in a Ypresian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Sierra Blanca Formation of California.
It was recombined as Sporolithon keenani by Johnson (1945); it was recombined as Archaeolithothamnion keenani by Johnson and Stewart (1953).
