Phalacrocorax littoralis
Taxonomy
Graculus littoralis was named by Milne-Edwards (1863). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is St-Gérand-le-Puy, which is in an Aquitanian fluvial-lacustrine mixed carbonate-siliciclastic in France. It is the type species of Oligocorax.
It was recombined as Phalacrocorax littoralis by Cheneval (1984) and Mlikovsky (2002); it was recombined as Oligocorax littoralis by Lambrecht (1933), Brodkorb (1952), Mourer-Chauviré (2008), Göhlich and Mourer-Cauvire (2010) and Worthy (2011).
It was recombined as Phalacrocorax littoralis by Cheneval (1984) and Mlikovsky (2002); it was recombined as Oligocorax littoralis by Lambrecht (1933), Brodkorb (1952), Mourer-Chauviré (2008), Göhlich and Mourer-Cauvire (2010) and Worthy (2011).
