López-Conde et al. 2021It is recognized as a member of Bothremydini based on: absence of the strong texture observed on the outer surface of the shell of Taphrosphyini; length of costal I not markedly exceeding twice the costal II length; wider than long marginal I; substraight posterior plastral lobe lateral margins; and mesoplastra almost as wide as long.
