Taxonomy
Marinavis longirostris was named by Harrison and Walker (1977). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Abbey Wood, which is in a Ypresian marine sandstone in the Blackheath Beds Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Marinavis.
