Pickettia carteri
Taxonomy
Belinurus carteri was named by Eller (1940). Its type specimen is BMSC E 9644, a carapace, and it is a mold. Its type locality is Hanley Quarry, Lewis Run, which is in a Famennian marine sandstone in the Cattaraugus Formation of Pennsylvania.
It was corrected as Belinurus carterae by Eller (1940); it was recombined as Pickettia carteri by Bicknell et al. (2019), Lamsdell (2020).
