Clemmydopsis mehelyi

Taxonomy
Clemmys mehelyi was named by Kormos (1911). Its type specimen is HGS 1889, a partial shell (posterior carapace), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sutto freshwater limestone, which is in a Ruscinian/Villafranchian fluvial-lacustrine limestone in Hungary.

It was recombined as Clemmydopsis mehelyi by Fritz and Farkas (1996).
