Taxonomy
Erythrovenator jacuiensis was named by Müller (2020). Its type specimen is CAPPA/UFSM 0157 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Niemeyer Site, which is in a Carnian channel sandstone/mudstone in the Candelária Formation of Brazil.
