Hesslerides arcentensis
Taxonomy
Hesslerides arcentensis was named by Brezinski (2000). Its type specimen is CM 45996, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dead Mans Branch, Alamo Canyon, Lake Valley Formation, Arcente Member, Otero, which is in an Osagean offshore shelf lime mudstone/shale in the Lake Valley Formation of New Mexico.
