Taxonomy
Paleodechenella zaaminica was named by Ivanova et al. (2009). Its type specimen is MGCU 33/977, a pygidium, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Myk Sai Section. 619/1, which is in a Ludfordian/Pridoli carbonate siltstone/limestone in the Zaamin Formation of Uzbekistan.
