Taxonomy
Proetus postromanowskyi was named by Ivanova (1991) [‘Proetus’ postromanowskyi]. Its type specimen is MGCU 5/814, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Lacunoporaspis postromanowskyi by Ivanova et al. (2009).
