Buteogallus milleri
Taxonomy
Urubitinga milleri was named by Howard (1932). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is UCMP 11050, a set of postcrania (coracoid), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hawver Cave, which is in a Pleistocene cave breccia in California.
It was recombined as Hypomorphnus milleri by Wetmore (1940), Miller and DeMay (1942); it was recombined as Buteogallus milleri by Wetmore (1956).
