Lariosaurus juvenilis
Taxonomy
Nothosaurus juvenilis was named by Edinger (1921). Its type specimen is Palaontologisches und Geologisches Institut und Museum, Universitat Heidelberg (Konig Collection, K.8698-1), a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Nusslocher Zementbruch, which is in an Illyrian marine horizon in the Trochitenkalk Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Lariosaurus juvenilis by Lin et al. (2017).
