Monodechenella subtriangularis

Taxonomy
Conophillipsia subtriangularis was named by Engel and Morris (1984) [= Phillipsia cf. gemmulifera McCoy 1847, p. 231.]. Its type specimen is AMF 80518, a cephalon/head (internal mould of cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is NU L353. Dungog Council Quarry, Dungog, which is in a Visean transition zone/lower shoreface sandstone/limestone in the Ararat Formation of Australia.

It was recombined as Monodechenella subtriangularis by Vanderlaan and Ebach (2015).
