Hyracotherium levei
Taxonomy
Propachynolophus levei was named by Hooker (1994). It is not extant. Its type specimen is BMNH.M49399, a maxilla (Left maxilla with P3-M3). Its type locality is Sables de Guise, Conde-en-Brie, which is in a Ypresian terrestrial horizon in France.
It was recombined as Hyracotherium levei by Remy (2017).
