Taxonomy
Khasurtya ginkgoides was named by Mamontov and Ignatov (2020). Its type specimen is PIN 5438/102 and is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Khasurty (PIN collection 5438), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - small siliciclastic in the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Khasurtya.
