Taxonomy
Electrolana madelineae was named by Schädel et al. (2021). Its type specimen is NHMW 2017/0052/0001 and is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber (NHMW collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar. It is the type species of Electrolana.
