Elorhynchus carrolli
Taxonomy
Elorhynchus carrolli was named by Ezcurra et al. (2020). Its type specimen is CRILAR-Pv 496, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Campo de Córdoba Norte, which is in a Ladinian/Carnian coarse channel fill sandstone in the Chañares Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Elorhynchus.
