Taxonomy
Foratella cervisia was named by Taylor and Martha (2017). Its type specimen is NHMUK BZ3305 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is White Hart Pit, Wilmington (Taylor collection), which is in a Cenomanian marine sandstone in the Beer Head Limestone Formation of the United Kingdom.
