Macrobole latipalpebrata
Taxonomy
Phillibole drewerensis latipalpebrata was named by Osmólska (1973). Its type specimen is Z. Pal. No. Tr. III/9a, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dalnia Hill - Pink to Green Marly Limestone Bed, which is in a Hastarian carbonate limestone in Poland.
It was corrected as Phillibole drewerensis latipalpebratus by Osmólska (1973); it was recombined as Archegonus (Phillibole) latipalpebratus by Gandl (1977); it was recombined as Archegonus (Phillibole) drewerensis latipalpebratus by Flajs and Feist (1988) and Archinal (1992); it was recombined as Semiproetus (Macrobole) drewerensis latipalpebratus by Rak et al. (2012); it was recombined as Semiproetus (Macrobole) latipalpebratus by Wagner (2020); it was recombined as Macrobole latipalpebrata by Lemke (2020).
