Karginella kargini

Taxonomy
Phillipsia derbyensis kargini was named by Weber (1933). Its type specimen is TML 62/3139 and is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Cummingella kargini by Hahn and Hahn (1968); it was recombined as Particeps kargini by Osmólska (1970); it was recombined as Karginella kargini by Hahn et al. (1990).

Osmólska 1970Cephalon compact, with pointed genal angles; glabella somewhat broader frontally than across its base; weakly swollen basal lobes; glabellar furrows, except shallow S.. absent; eye short, placed opposite the middle of glabella; pygidium subtriangular, weakly convex, with very narrow, flat border, axis with 13-14 rings, 8-9 ribs; ornamentation granular, scarce.
