Aquilolamna milarcae
Taxonomy
Aquilolamna milarcae was named by Vullo et al. (2021). Its type specimen is INAH 2544 P.F.17, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Vallecillo quarry (Museo La Milarca MMSP collection), which is in a Turonian offshore limestone in the Agua Nueva Formation of Mexico. It is the type species of Aquilolamna.
