Taxonomy
Diaphus (Lamprossa) pseudopulcher was named by Schwarzhans (1980). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GS 13062, which is in a Tongaporutuan marine mudstone in the Bells Creek Mudstone Formation of New Zealand.

It was recombined as Diaphus pseudopulcher by Schwarzhans (2019).
