Lophius onokensis
Taxonomy
Lophius onokensis was named by Schwarzhans (2019). Its type specimen is CD988, an otolith, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Whangaimoana Cliffs, which is in an Opoitian marine horizon in New Zealand.
