Taxonomy
Aciculolenus askewi was named by Chatterton (2020) [= Aciculolenus new species A Chatterton and Gibb 2016, p. 75, pl. 53, figs. 4, 7, 9, text-fig. 15B.]. Its type specimen is RBCM-P977 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Site 15. Bull River Valley, which is in a Steptoean deep subtidal mudstone/limestone in Canada.
