Taxonomy
Psalikilus hestoni was named by Adrain et al. (2009). Its type specimen is SUI 115419 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is HC6 205.5, Hillyard's Canyon, which is in a Tulean shallow subtidal /marl in the Garden City Formation of Idaho.
