Caririchnium liucixini
Taxonomy
Caririchnium liucixini was named by Xing et al. (2016). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is SMG-O9-L1, a footprint, and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Shimiaogou tracksite, which is in a Barremian/Albian fluvial sandstone in the Jiaguan Formation of China.

Differ from other Caririchnium tracks in having weak mesaxony (0.23 and 0.28 for type). Interdigital divarication II–IV = 46°. Short steps with pace length being 2.0 x footprint length. |
