Solenosteira merriami
Taxonomy
Solenosteira merriami was named by Loel and Corey (1932). Its type specimen is UCMP 31595 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP loc. 3676, south of summit of Reliz-Vaqueros Creek road, which is in a Miocene coastal siliciclastic in the Vaqueros Formation of California.
