Acheronodon garbani
Taxonomy
Acheronodon garbani was named by Archibald (1982) [genotype]. Its type specimen is UCMP V-116953, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Worm Coulee 1, which is in a Puercan coarse channel fill sandstone in the Fort Union Formation of Montana. It is the type species of Acheronodon.
