Taxonomy
Stenostoma pulchella was named by Dixon (1850). It is extant. Its type locality is Steyning chalk-pit (zone of Holaster subglobosus), which is in a Cenomanian/Cenomanian carbonate chalk in the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Berycopsis pulchella by Woodward (1902); it was recombined as Homonotichthys pulchellus by Patterson (1964).
