Pycnosteroides levispinosus
Taxonomy
Pycnosterinx levispinosus was named by Hay (1903). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hadjoula (Day collection, AMNH), which is in a Cenomanian carbonate limestone in Lebanon. It is the type species of Pycnosteroides.
It was recombined as Pycnosteroides levispinosus by Woodward (1942) and Patterson (1964).
