Protobrama avus
Taxonomy
Protobrama avus was named by Woodward (1942). Its type specimen is AUB 108390-91, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Hadjoula (AUB collection), which is in a Cenomanian carbonate limestone in Lebanon. It is the type species of Protobrama.
