Parocnus browni
Taxonomy
Mesocnus browni was named by Matthew (1931). Its type specimen is Amer. Mus. No. 16877, a partial skull (anterior half of skull), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Ciego Montero, which is in a Pleistocene terrestrial horizon in Cuba.
It was recombined as Parocnus browni by White and MacPhee (2001).
