Taxonomy
Yaadia branti was named by Saul (1978). Its type specimen is UCLA 38613 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCLA loc. 3619, Chico Creek, which is in a Coniacian marine horizon in the Chico Formation of California.
