Taxonomy
Kannemeyeria aganosteus was named by Kammerer and Ordoñez (2021). Its type specimen is PVL 3963, a partial skull (A partial skull consisting of the snout with the right caniniform process broken and anterior orbital region), and it is a 3D body fossil.
