Meticonaxius gamma
Taxonomy
Callianassa gamma was named by Rathbun (1935). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chickasawhay River, which is in an Eocene carbonate marl in the Winona Formation of Mississippi.
It was recombined as Upogebia gamma by Schweitzer et al. (2010); it was recombined as Meticonaxius gamma by Franţescu (2014).
