Taxonomy
Miohippus navasotae was named by Hay (1924). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Garvin Gully, which is in a Hemingfordian terrestrial horizon in the Oakville Formation of Texas.
It was recombined as Kalobatippus navasotae by MacFadden (1998); it was recombined as Anchitherium navasotae by Stirton (1940), Forsten (1975), MacFadden (2001).

Broad anterior cingulum, no lingual cingulum. Lower teeth with metaconid and metastylid slightly sep- arated in the premolars; slightly separated or undifferentiated in the molars. Continuous anterior, labial, and posterior cingulum; lingual cingulum faint or none. No cement. |
