Hastichthys gracilis
Taxonomy
Rhynchodercetis gracilis was named by Chalifa (1989). Its type specimen is HUJEY 330, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 'Ein Yabrud quarries, which is in a Cenomanian shallow subtidal limestone in the Bet Meir or Amminadav Formation of Palestinian Territory. It is the type species of Hastichthys.
It was recombined as Hastichthys gracilis by Alvarado-Ortega and Díaz-Cruz (2021).
