Hastichthys totonacus
Taxonomy
Hastichthys totonacus was named by Alvarado-Ortega and Díaz-Cruz (2021). Its type specimen is IGM 7969, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is IGM-3889, Huehuetla quarry, which is in a Turonian marine marl in the Agua Nueva Formation of Mexico.
