Crangon miocenicus

Taxonomy
Longitergite miocenicus was named by Garassino and Teruzzi (1996). Its type specimen is PIN 4505-5a, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 1.5 km west of Shirvanskaya, near the Pshekha river (PIN collection), which is in a Miocene marine claystone in the Maikop Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Longitergite.

It was recombined as Crangon miocenicus by Garassino and Teruzzi (2001), Schweitzer et al. (2010).
