Taxonomy
Rhinellus delicatus was named by Hay (1903). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hadjoula (Day collection, AMNH), which is in a Cenomanian carbonate limestone in Lebanon.
It was recombined as Ichthyotringa delicata by Goody (1969).
