Taxonomy
Eupleura muriciformis curta was named by Arnold (1903). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lumberyard, San Pedro - Upper San Pedro Series [Palos Verdes Sand], which is in a Pleistocene coastal sandstone in the Palos Verdes Sand Formation of California.
It was recombined as Eupleura curta by Hendy (2021).
