Taxonomy
Neocalmonia yazdii was named by Morzadec (2002). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Coupe située en face du village de Niaz, Kale Sardar, which is in a Frasnian shallow subtidal limestone in the Bahram Formation of Iran.
