Taxonomy
Pulvinocephalus (Pulvinocephalus) steinachensis triangulus was named by Feist (2019). Its type specimen is SMF-X 540 d,, a cephalon/head, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Pulvinocephalus (Pulvinocephalus) triangulus by Wagner (2020).
