Ophiosuperstes praeparvus
Taxonomy
Ophiosuperstes praeparvus was named by Maxwell and Pruss (2021). Its type specimen is MnhnL OPH177 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LC-18-34, Lost Cabin Springs, which is in a Spathian deep subtidal ramp packstone in the Moenkopi Formation of Nevada. It is the type species of Ophiosuperstes.
