Leptoplastides depressus

Taxonomy
Ellipsocephalus depressus was named by Salter In Murchinson (1859). Its type specimen is BGS GSM10843 (lectotype), a thorax (trunk), and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Beltella depressa by Lake (1919), Rushton (1982), Fortey and Owens (1991); it was recombined as Leptoplastides depressus by Morris (1988), Zylinska (2001).
